The continuous heavy downpour in Mumbai since Saturday brought traffic and rail network to a halt on Monday including a landslide that killed one, injured two and left two more people trapped beneath the huge fall of rocks from the landslide site adjoining the Halad View building in the posh central Mumbai Haji Ali area and the famous Heera Panna shopping Center. Firemen from three different fire brigade stations were trying to remove the rocks and save lives of trapped people, but heavy rains were preventing the rescue work.
